What is this?

DevOps Digest is an AI-powered news aggregator that automatically collects, analyzes, and summarizes the most important tech content from across the web, covering DevOps, Platform Engineering, AI/ML, and Software Engineering.

Why I built this: When working solo, it's really important to break out of the echo chamber and stay updated. I built this to solve that problem for myself and others. Feedback is welcome - I'll continue improving it!

• Hacker News: Top tech stories

• GitHub: Trending repositories and major releases (DevOps, AI/ML, Software Engineering)
• Dev.to: Popular tech articles

How it works

1. Aggregation: Content is fetched from 50+ sources daily
2. Scoring: Each item is scored based on engagement, recency, and source quality
3. AI Analysis: Cloudflare Workers AI categorizes and filters relevant content
4. Report Generation: AI generates a comprehensive markdown report with insights
5. Storage: Stored in Cloudflare D1 for historical analysis

Tech Stack

• Cloudflare Workers: Serverless compute for data collection
• Workers AI: @cf/meta/llama-3.1-8b-instruct for categorization and report generation
• D1 Database: SQLite-based storage for digests and trends
• Cloudflare Pages: Modern, fast web interface

Period Options

Daily: Fresh content from the last 24 hours, updated every morning at 09:00 UTC
Weekly: Top stories from the past week, compiled every Sunday
Monthly: Best content from the month, generated on the 1st of each month
